Ken Gregory and his daughter Vicky are taking a hike in Italy.
In memory of their beloved wife and mother – Gio, who tragically died of a pulmonary embolism in 2019, Ken and Vicky will be walking 100km of the Via Francigena to Rome to raise funds and awareness of Thrombosis.
In July 2019, I am participating in a group climb of Mount Snowdon with my school. I am so grateful to have been given this opportunity and am so excited about using it as an excuse to promote awareness and raise money for Thrombosis UK!

On Friday 25th October 2019 Martin and Maureen Shipley completed their epic walk around the coast of the British Isles where it had begun at Robin Hood’s Bay on Valentine’s Day, 14th February all done in memory of Dawn, their daughter, who tragically died in 2011 aged just 37 leaving 3 beautiful girls behind her which has devastated this lovely family.
So, a few days into the challenge and I’ve signed me and Hannah up to do a virtual walk (along with Jo, Josh and Annya) from Lands End to John O’Groats.
I have taken the plunge and entered the 2017 Barcelona Ironman this coming October.
So, just in case the title doesn't give it away, I've signed up to hike to Everest base Camp this September as part of an organised group! I'm crazy, I know.
