Cochrane Vascular is one of 52 worldwide review groups belonging to Cochrane. We produce systematic reviews on all medical and surgical interventions for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of peripheral arterial and venous diseases. These reviews provide a powerful tool to enhance healthcare knowledge and decision making.
Venous thromboembolism is one of our major topics, but we also cover aortic aneurysm; lower limb arterial occlusive disease, including intermittent claudication and critical limb ischaemia; and other venous diseases including varicose veins and venous insufficiency.
