As part of the charity’s World Thrombosis Day celebrations, Thrombosis UK held three live webinars.

Let’s Talk Clots virtual conference

In support of World Thrombosis Day 2020, Thrombosis UK held a week of online webinars in the ‘Let’s Talk Clots’ virtual conference.

Open to all health care and allied professionals and hosting 20 live webinars, the week long accredited conference welcomed more than 1,300 attendees and by 20th of October had already received 230,000 platform ‘hits’!

A key objective for Thrombosis UK is to support, promote and inform research into blood clots.

We are seeking your support for our 2021 Thrombosis UK Research Appeal

Donations to the Thrombosis UK Research Appeal will be specifically be used to support research projects into understanding more about the causes, prevention and management of blood clots also known as thrombosis, deep vein thrombosis (DVT- blood clots usually formed in the legs), pulmonary embolism (PE - blood clots in the lungs) or venous thromboembolism, (VTE, both DVT + PE).
